What is the one thing you look for when you read a website? Do you look for the content on the site that appeals to you, or do you read whatever that caught your attention? Do you go for exotic articles that trigger your sense of homour, as you appreciate the sense of the articles? Whatever it is, you would agree that everyone looks for articles that would benefit them and help to clarify their understanding of the topic that interests them.

What would you look for on my website as you are reading right now? Well, the forte of my articles is food and health issues, ailments, life issues, motivational articles, encouraging and inspiring topics to awaken you, and interesting articles to web your appetite in your search for things that enchant you.

My aim in my writing is to point to the One who created us and to give God the glory. You may find articles that talk about people and how we can live up to our lives. Ultimately all glory goes to God and it is my desire that you are blessed in reading the articles that will speak and change your life. Plan Your Goals – Whom You Want to Be

Have you ever wondered why it is so difficult to get up in the morning? Almost all of us experience the grind of waking up in the morning Once up, what is the take of the day? Do you haphazardly rush through the day without any planning and at the end of the day found yourself exhausted and accomplishing nothing? It must be very stressful without heading any headway if you don’t have a plan for the day.

So, what must you do to be purposeful and have some success for the day? First, you must have a plan for the day, what you want done and accomplish. Secondly, plan what is the top most priority that you want done for the day. Thirdly, find the niche to do what you find is the easiest to accomplish first. Finally, set your goal which is the very task that you want to do for the day.

If you don’t have a plan or goal for the weeks and the months, you will not have any goals for the day. Having a goal and planning it is important. Without it, you will be aimless and purposeless. How then do you go about planning your day?

You must realise whom you want to become first before you can start planning what you want to do. For example, your goal is to be a writer. How then do you go about planning your work to gain success? You must love learning first before you can write. Read as much as possible about the niche of your forte that you want to write about. Aim to write those topics that interest you and have a goal to want to write those articles that you have always wanted to write.

The next step is to read magazines on the subjects that pertain to your writing. Study the magazine well and the articles in the magazine. Note how the writers write their articles and seek to follow the style. This is very important as if you want to sell your articles to the magazine, you must have the articles that they want to publish.

Discover widely the topics in your niche of writing and aim to write at least one article per week. Have a good social life, so that you can explore your circle of interest. Gather information from your peers and have records of your research tack in your record book. You must keep a record of your research and you can refer to it when you want to write a certain topic.

Attend writers club or conference regularly, so that you can keep in touch with those who write. Fellowshipping with them helps you to keep in touch at the market level as to what is happening in your writing world. By exploring yourself socially, you can gain a great advantage of spreading your spear of interest in your niche.

As you have a plan for your writing goal, you will come out strong in your writing career. You will then know what you want and what interests you most. You can then plan your writing goal for the week, then for the month. Evaluate your writing assignment, how often you write, and what you write. At the end of the day, you can only measure your success if you diligently seek to plan your work and work toward your goals.

How to Cope in Your Distress

What is the most pressing thought in your life? Are you a worrier and have no peace of mind? Do you go through the day thinking about the problems that you faced, and nonetheless feeling lousy and defeated? What is your thought pattern daily and how do you face the challenges of life?

The questions may go on and on, but ultimately you need to address yourself as to the struggles that you are facing. Do you feel like deliberating in all your doings and you are about to give up? You need to search yourself as to what you are going through and you need to address your situations without becoming overwhelmed. However, the problems that you faced may be challenging but there is no problem too great that you cannot solve it.

How then do you go about solving your problems? The solution to your problems is to know God. God created you in His image and He knows what you are going through. Knowing God equals solving your problems. It is God who takes care of your future and you may like to commit your life to God. But you may ask how you may know God. Well, God sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross for your sins, as the whole world’s sins were bored on Jesus’ body and when you believe in Him, you shall be saved. God knows every pain that you go through and as you submit to Jesus, God will meet all your needs. God is interested in who you are as He created you. You are precious in His sight and when you look to God, heaven will open for you and you have asses to God.

Believe in the Lord Jesus and you shall be saved. Submit all your problems to a great God and soon you will be out of your predicament. Submit to God, resist the devil and you will be able to face up to your problems.

 


 

Arthritis – The Musculoskeletal Problem

Arthritis – the inflammation of the joints, which affects the musculoskeletal part of the leg joints or hand, is an inherited genetic cause. For example, my mum suffers from arthritis, and so are my two aunties (my mum’s sisters), and my uncle (my mum’s brother), including myself and my two other sisters. Arthritis has passed down its family root from my mother’s family. The pain in the joints is excruciating. When the ligament wears off, the joint is stiff and painful. There may be swelling, with fluid in the joints but this usually is not painful.

The hustle for me in my knee pain is that I couldn’t exercise. I have body fats that I want to get rid of but I can’t do knee squats or other exercises because of the pain in the knee joints. I would also like a game of badminton weekly, but I can’t play the game because of knee pain. Walking is also affecting my leg, as I have tried walking for two hours at the beach and my leg was painful after I came back. Now I don’t exercise anymore because of the pain. What kind of lifestyle is it without exercise?

My mum had arthritis for more than 30 years. Her leg is bold now, with a V shape. She can hardly sit properly on a chair. Bending down to sit is very painful for her. One of my aunts has a problem walking. She drags herself while walking. The pain prevents her from walking normally. For myself, each time when I climb the bus steps, I will feel the pain. It is not a joke when you suffer from arthritis. It disables you from participating in normal activities, and for me, it means no exercise.

There is limited movement that I can engage in, as the cartilage which protects the joint wears off, and the pressure is on the joints without any cushion, as the bones rub together, causing great pain. However, one of the key ways to lessen the pain is to engage in selected exercises like physiotherapy, which needs guidance from the physiotherapist. Low-impact aerobic activity, with endurance exercises like flexibility strength training for muscle tone, is one of the many types of physio-training.

Eating food like omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil helps in alleviating joint pain. Rest from fatigue from work is also important, as you put less stress on the legs. Eating a balanced diet is important as the body needs sufficient nutrients to sustain the body from joint wear and tear. Fish like sardine is good, as you eat the bones of the fish too, which helps to build up the mass in the bones.

There is no cure for arthritis except for surgery, in which the cartilage is replaced with plastic articulators which help to give flexibility to the joints. As for myself, the pain is mild and the best way is to have a good diet, rest from activity and trust God for healing. There is nothing that one can do when one is stricken with the problem. The best way is to break the generation curse and ask God to remove the problem. It can be done as God is our creator.

 


 

Chiropractic – The Neuroscience of Musculoskeletal Adjustment

Chiropractic – the neuroscience of musculoskeletal adjustment of the spine is an art that modern science has acquired, to be the next-in-line of medical practice by chiropractors. The word chiro means hand, and practic means to practice; hence chiropractic means the use of hands to practice the art of skeletal adjustments.

Chiropractic means the examination of the biomechanics structure in the function of the spine. People who suffer from lower back pain, neck pain, or extreme joint conditions, can easily seek a Chiropractor’s help, as modern medicine may be difficult to help adjust the structure of the bones.

Chiropractic is a very new science in the treatment of the skeletal problem, as it was only founded in 1895 by an American magnetic healer by the name of Daniel David Palmer. However, the practice of chiropractic has through the years gone into a ‘dark age’, where the Medicine Faculty of Doctors rejected the practice of chiropractic treatment, calling it scum and considering it to be an underhanded way of practice.

In the period in the 80s, the General Practitioners of Doctors brought the Society of Chiropractors to court, deeming the practice as cultist, and refused to acknowledge the discovery of chiropractic. However, the court of law ruled over the fact that chiropractic practice is legitimate and found no flaws in the practice of such a science. Since that proclamation and the ‘go ahead’ to license chiropractors, there has been a mushrooming of Chiropractors sprouting out all over the world.

Today people accept the treatment of chiropractic care, and many athletes who suffer from injury seek help from the Chiropractor. The nervous system is the primary sector in which the Chiropractor aims to bring relief and restoration to the body’s ability to increase the body’s immunity and resistance to illnesses. By improving the spine, it will also help improve the nervous system.

Chiropractic also adjusts the musculoskeletal and nervous systems in their role in health and disease. The chiropractor uses hands-on spinal manipulation and other alternative treatments, to help the alignment of the body’s musculoskeletal structure, positioning the spine to heal by itself, without surgery or medication. Such is the advancement of the treatment, and patients can focus on correcting the causes of physical problems from misalignments of the bones in the body, especially the spine, through the touch of a Chiropractor’s hand.

Chiropractic is primarily used as a pain relief alternative for muscles, joints, bones, and connective tissues, such as cartilage, ligaments, and tendons. Regular treatment can help relieve long-term pain in the bone structures and eventually brings healing to the body. It may be a little expensive for long-term treatment, but usually, the payment is in bulk payment of a couple of sessions, but some opt for each visit of about $50.

Chiropractic is getting very popular now, long gone were the days when people snare at the thought of chiropractors. It is indeed a modern science of a new discovery, of a pain healer, which is difficult to detect in General Practitioners’ practice if a bone is out of alignment. It is through the spine that corrective measures are detected to determine the cause of the pain in the body, and the Chiropractor certainly has his way of putting right the spinal cord right back again when the cause of the pain is detected.

A visit to a Chiropractor is not a dream, it is a reality that you can make happen if you were to look for one when your muscles and bones start aching.
